The Universal Decking Company provides a professional service with a personal touch. With many years experience, our in-house team of designers and installers place a high value on customer satisfaction - after all most of our work comes through word-of-mouth.

In part, this is because we provide a complete service, we don't subcontract and therefore you can be assured that before, during and after, you will always be dealing with Universal decking. This means a reliable, experienced team dedicated to Universal's high standards of expertise and courtesy.

Unique to your Home
Universal Decking are an independent family run company focussed on providing made-to-measure decking and accessories built on-site. We have no ties to styles, therefore all Decks are customised and unique to your home.

Using Industry standard 3D design software, we can create your deck before your very eyes - we can even spin it around so you can see it from all angles. All of our customers find this 'virtual' perspective very useful prior to committing a penny to construction. This system helps to visualise the design in situ as it can incorporate existing buildings, steps, doors etc.

Professional Service
The first step towards having your own Universal Deck is our free no-obligation personal consultation, where we survey the area and discuss the aspirations for the deck design and location.

We then prepare 3D CAD (computer aided design) visualisations of the proposed deck and any options - all fully costed.

Following this, generally the designs are fine tweaked to include any alterations or last minute changes based on further discussion.

On agreement of the final design, a installation specification is prepared to include all costs, details of materials, approx timescales and details of guarantees, etc.

The deck is then constructed, installed, quality checked and signed-off by the customer prior to payment.
